DOMESTIC ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES

Gnomon Wood Ltd’s 'in house' Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) is licensed with Elmhurst Energy Systems Limited who is a Government accredited body for the issue and endorsement of Energy Performance Certificates

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPCs) identifies the official energy efficiency rating of a property. The certificate provides you with a rating for the building, showing its energy efficiency and its environmental impact on a scale from A-G (where A is the most efficient and G the least efficient), in graphical format. It also contains recommended ways to improve the building's energy performance.

By 2009, all buildings in the UK that are constructed, sold or rented out will have to have an Energy Performance Certificate, in accordance with the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. From 10 September 2007 Home Information Packs (HIPs) will be required for the sale of three bedroom properties and larger. Packs for two bedrooms and less will be phased in as sufficient energy assessors become accredited and in October 2008 Energy Performance Certificates will be introduce for all rented domestic properties

Gnomon Wood offer a local  professional service that is able to provide a fast response to all domestic energy enquiries and also offer a Fast Track Service along with monthly account facilities and bulk order discounts.
